How it affects people.

People can sometimes hate themselves for being bullied over being African American. It can effect them emotionally by all the horrible things people say. Also people sometimes can fear for their lives because of threats. Its not fair for them to live in fear. They should be able to walk around like everyone else.

Opinion?

            Racism is an issue in the United States. Racism has been a problem in the world ever since humans came here. Some communities even fear people with different skin color; they believe they can be destructive. We all know about the African American slaves they had in the U.S. Finally slavery is not practiced here, but it is still practiced in other parts of the world. The Declaration of Independence even singles out the African Americans as  barbaric. A lot of people think that the color of your skin has to do with who you are. Most people say if you are African American, you are part of a "gang". People can say harsh or cruel things. People should accept people no matter on the color of skin, or religion they are.
           People probably are mean to "different" people because they want to be in charge. They don't want Germans, or Mexicans to get jobs over them or be in their way.
